Rong Gwan Productions is an independent production house founded in 2015 by Director CJ Wang. Combining artistry and entertainment, Rong Gwan is committed to producing innovative and inspiring feature films that provide insights into contemporary societal issues. We view films as a means of communication, conveying values worth spreading but are yet to be known.

The word “rong gwan” comes from the travelogue of Zhang, Ju Zheng, a chancellor of the Ming Dynasty. “Rong gwan” symbolizes a state of mind that embraces all things and isn’t influenced by external encounters or circumstances. We’re not swayed by worldly values and judgments. By blending resources of society and inspiration from artists, we can create transformative works with unique perspectives and long-lasting impact.

Reclaim is Rong Gwan Productions’ first independently developed, produced and invested feature film. Previously, the production house produced the award-winning short films Thief and Rowboat. Aside from film production, script development, film shooting and producing, digital color grading and digital cinema packaging, we also provide corporate video production services to tell their stories.
